CBD may be a valuable supplement in the fight against cancer. Recent studies have shown CBD to have positive impacts during the treatment of cancer. CBD as well as some of the other compounds found in cannabis have an antitumor effect and can intensify the death of tumor cells in both colon cancer and leukemia.
Further research has shown that CBD can be used to stop the spread of cancer cells in cervical cancer cells. It is important to note that the vast majority of CBD and cancer studies are pre-clinical. This means they are not conducted on human or even mammalian test subjects, and the findings – while promising – should not be construed as conclusive proof that CBD can cure cancer.
Many patients are turning to CBD to relieve the impacts of chemotherapy treatments, many of which stick with a patient for the rest of his or her life.
